Retailers are trying to find ways to make sure that they can honor the new normal as the world moves from over a decade of lockdown to an omnichannel platform.
Trend-led shoe brand Steve Madden is the latest to join the long line of retailers harnessing the digital in-store commerce experience. The retailer has teamed up with PredictSpring to bring a variety of POS omnichannel features to its Mexican stores.
POS technology brings a number of benefits for both retailers and consumers. Not only can handheld mobile devices be used to purchase products in stores, but they also give store associates detailed client information such as past purchases and loyalty status. Customers can now choose to pick up products in-store or order products online from store associates. The products will then be delivered to their home.
“Consumers are back in stores and omnichannel is more important than ever before,” said Nitin Mangtani, founder and CEO of PredictSpring, in a statement. With the 2021 holiday season just around the corner, and consumers actively looking for brands to engage with, this is the ideal time for brands to upgrade their online and in-store customer experiences. We are excited to work with a fashion innovator such as Steve Madden, and to align our Modern POS to their forward-thinking vision of the brand.
