Under Armour, Inc., has elected David Gibbs as its director effective September 1, 2021. As chief executive officer (CEO) of Yum! Brands, Inc. stated that Gibbs, 58, is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Yum!
“David’s outstanding track record in global brand management, including significant retail and international expertise, and driving shareholder returns will serve as a tremendous resource as we continue to execute on our growth objectives,” said Under Armour executive chairman and brand chief Kevin Plank. Since January 2020, Gibbs has been the CEO of Yum! Brands and has been a member on its board since November 2019. Yum! has been his 32-year career! Gibbs served in a variety leadership roles at Yum! Brands over his 32-year career, including finance, global strategy, operations, and real estate.
