Chanel will be taking its cruise show to Dubai in 2022. It will be held on November 2nd and is a repeat show. Chanel’s Cruise 2022 Collection was unveiled in May at the Carrieres de Lumieres limestone quarries, in Les Baux-de-Provence.
This marks the second time that Chanel has staged in cruise show, the first time being in 2014 for cruise 2015. Dubai is one of the most important markets for luxury brands, and it’s also the richest region in the Middle East. It is still unknown where the cruise show will be held.
According to McCourier, the UAE luxury market saw strong growth from 2015 to 2020. This market is expected grow at an 8.5% CAGR between 2021 and 2026. Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates both have Chanel boutiques and the UAE, in general, is a very popular shopping destination.
