Farfetch, a British-Portuguese online luxury fashion retailer that sells products from more than 700 boutiques and international brands, saw its revenue rise 43 percent during the second quarter 2021. The gross merchandise value increased by 40 percent to 1 billion dollars, which is a double increase over last year.
“I am truly impressed with the resilience of the luxury industry, which after an unprecedented period, is already back to growth,” Jose Neves Farfetch founder and chief executive said in a press release. The outlook for luxury industry H2 is positive and could surpass previous expectations.
