Trade show Moda, also known as the National Footwear Show, has announced a line-up of over 160 footwear, fashion, accessories, and jewellery brands for its upcoming event in September. The designer describes the line as “a stunningly patterned brightness to even the most rainy of rainy days”.
“While some of our international exhibitors have been affected by changes in travel restrictions, Moda is still working hard to build partnerships and experiences that will provide both visitors and exhibitors with a return on their investment.”
“Over a third of Autumn Fair pre-registrations have specified a primary interest in footwear and apparel, and Moda pre-registrations are looking great despite the challenges of the last year, so we are very excited to see the benefits to Moda of the co-location. Moda and Autumn Fair will be your one-stop shopping destination for the top-selling fashion and footwear brands. There are also nine additional sectors that you can explore, including gifts and homeware, to diversify your offerings.”
Moda co-locates with Autumn Fair this September for the first time Through its partnership with Modular Commerce, Moda will offer its Hosted Buyer Program and membership to The Club to all BFA buyers who attend the show. Visitors who become members of The Club receive additional benefits such as complimentary cloakroom facilities, refreshments, and access to The Club Lounge for recharging between meetings.
Lucy Reece-Raybould, chief executive, British Footwear Association, added: “While we continue to face challenges in our industry as a result of the pandemic and Brexit, we are pleased to see that signs of recovery are already showing. Moda is pleased to be a partner in the BFA’s efforts to bring the industry together.”
“As the only dedicated UK footwear show going ahead this year, it is incredibly encouraging to see the commitment, investment and support for the footwear industry demonstrated by Moda as brands and buyers reunite to kickstart a new sales season. We are delighted to announce the co-location of Autumn Fair. This will bring new audiences and exciting cross-buying opportunities.”
Hosted twice a year at the NEC Birmingham, Moda is a key destination for fashion buying and features the largest line-up of men’s, women’s and kid’s footwear alongside ready-to-wear womenswear and accessories. It will also be co-located this September with the Autumn Fair for the first time. Both trade shows will be held from September 5 through 8.
