The majority of Brits want to see more vegan-verified clothes, bags, shoes and accessories both in-store and online, a new study reveals. 37 percent believe that cow leather is cruel.
Meanwhile, 35 percent said they want more vegan leather options with almost three-quarters (74 percent) willing to pay more for the non-animal-based alternatives. It’s sustainable for 42 percent, ethical for 34 percent, and modern for 31 percent.
Research from the study was based on a survey of 1,000 UK adults conducted on consumer research platform Attest between May 12 to 14 2021.
