AZ Factory, a fashion start-up that was founded by Richemont and Alber Elbaz, has announced that it will host a tribute show with more than 40 fashion houses.
AZ Factory stated that the ‘Love Brings Love’ tribute at Paris Fashion Week, October 5, will be a “hommage to the late couturier”. The Theatre de la Mode was a 1945 Parisian show that brought together French couturiers in a beautiful expression to creativity, prestige and solidarity after World War II.
According to AZ Factory, Elbaz was fascinated by the story and had always hoped to unite his fashion family in a modern Theatre de la Mode.
Paris-based fashion startup Fashion Start-up did not reveal the names of designers or fashion houses that would participate, but stated in a press release that they would be announced at a later date.
Laurent Malecaze is the chief executive of AZ Factory. He said that he was moved and humbled by the fact that some of today’s most creative minds have joined the AZ Factory team to pay tribute to Alber. It will be a powerful celebration of Alber’s memory and an expression of love. We are certain that Alber would be incredibly proud to have this show in his memory.
As the final event of Paris Fashion Week, the tribute show AZ Factory ‘Love Brings Love’ will be presented on October 5.
