Harrods London, in collaboration with Iconoclast UK, released the fashion film “Set Your Stage” which celebrates the extensive product range at its Knightsbridge store.
The film was directed by Iggy London, an award-winning filmmaker. It aims to show Harrods as a shopping paradise, showcasing the store’s expansive floors and what customers can find in them. Harrods luxury and high-end products are further displayed by the cast, who wear new season looks from Loewe, Jil Sander and Prada.
Iggy said that it was important to spotlight some of the most fascinating people in the London creative scene for the film with Harrods. The film’s idea was to show that there is a common excitement when all these incredible talents are gathered. This message was combined with Harrods, an iconic and historic brand, and it was a great way to bring these two worlds together.
The film follows the cast as they walk through Harrods’ halls, in-store shops and cafes. Kai-Isaiah Jamal, a poet and activist, narrates a poem about fashion innovators and marginalized communities. Jamal has been an active participant in fashion’s spotlight over the last year, working on numerous projects with brands like Calvin Klein, Filippa K, and Louis Vuitton.
The film also features a variety of London creatives, such as singer Priya Ragu and CKTRL saxophonist. This list of stars is a result of Harrods’s desire to keep in touch with the cultural zeitgeist and celebrate the city’s talent.
