Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet was back at New York Fashion Week. Bendet brought her vignettes as well as her rainbow swatches of colors. This year’s theme was “Come Create With Us”, a call to fashion and art collaboration. The collection was displayed amongst the work of female artists, who were invited to the presentation to create alongside Alice + Olivia.

The brand celebrated its 20th anniversary by bringing some of their most beloved signature styles out for play. This included statement pants and patchwork combinations with signature prints. As with all Alice + Olivia collections there was an infinite array of colors to choose from in every color spectrum. The silky dresses were a tribute to Alice + Olivia’s classic goddess dresses. They came in every shade of the rainbow, from blue to bubblegum pink. A red suit paired with a cropped Corset created a striking effect that caught everyone’s attention. The bright green jumpsuit, the yellow mini skirt and jacket, the tailored bright orange oversized jacket with silky long trousers and the blue slit dress with double-take worthy train were all accessorized by long scarves.

Alice + Olivia debuted a new Stace Face design with a color pop stripe. The collection also featured motifs from the ’70s, including rock and roll and glamour. Shiny accordion pleats in skirts and dresses, as well as light-catching beads and sequins on the belts, gave us both ’70s chic and rock and roll fierceness. A luxurious statement piece was a bustier with beading, pearls, and sequins. A short, tiered party gown with a sparkling crystal bow added a new dimension to the babydoll silhouette.
