Casual wear is now elegantly accepted in the new season. Let’s keep it casual but stylish. These fabrics are strong and can be tailored to suit any occasion or mood. Smooth velvet, soft satin and cozy alpaca yarns blend seamlessly with vintage denim and the softest lamb skin and Tencel. We strive to make every season more sustainable by developing our designs under the Aware label.
The trouser suit is a Summum classic. It can be made in familiar or new colours. Loungewear includes matching wide trousers and soft hoodies. The season features light colours like ivory, shell and other pastels. The winter glow is given to them with dark shades of brown, grey and black, as well as greens like teal and seafoam. It’s not all about the contrasts. Instead, it’s about being confident in cool and sophisticated ways. The Summum woman wears her clothes with joy and pride, in faux leather, denim or real leather.
Capsule 6
The fall season is starting in a luxurious, rich way. Think and feel thick satins, punto milano (especially in the new culottes & long gilet cardigan), gorgeous cupro and coated fabric to joggers & skirts. This capsule is about comfort. But it’s also very stylish comfort. There are many options for tops and trousers, from high-waisted paperbag trousers to velvet skinny, as well as a variety of metal bucket belts that give off a military feel. Summum’s camouflage print gives tailored trousers a casual feel.
A cool season is not complete without the perfect leather jacket. With its new Alpaca color and golden trim, the lamb leather biker jacket has become a must-have. To complement the all-leather season’s stylish look, there are also culottes and a gilet. Knitwear is still appropriate for summer days when temperatures drop. There are cute ajour patterns and feather-light alpaca yarns as well as oversized cardigans, jacquard knits and large cardigans. The sleeveless, oversized sweaters are this season’s hottest. They come in a light knit or a heavy knit.
We offer many styles because this is the season to get a great coat. Two styles that are becoming a wardrobe staple have gone from being an it-item to a fashion statement have been trendy. The Shacket is a brushed-check style in neutral colours. Closely followed by the puffer, either in a calf length A-line silhouette or at the hip for quick dressing. The formal coats, such as the wool gabardine jacket with playful pleat detailing that creates a balloon sleeves, are perfectly aligned to Capsule 7’s casual yet lush feel. Our take on the classic lamby jacket will be the new standard for many seasons.
Capsule 7
Elegant, but still comfortable. It’s sophisticated. Capsule 7 is a sophisticated collection with sparkly sweaters and boyfriend blazers. It also features wide trousers in a beautiful palette of whites and greys that are complemented by seafoam and teal. Each year, new prints are added to the designs. These designs can be combined to create stunning looks. Although the classic check is timeless, combining checks to create a playful, modern look can be achieved. This is true for prints we have already matched with stunning pieces like the maxi button-down gown and the short, creased dress. Imagine animals hidden amongst flowers and leaves, or mixed with geometrical shapes. Pleated trousers are available in two-tone satin fabric which shows through when cuffed. Overall trousers are looser fitting with a slight bootcut or loosely tapered. Metal zips add an interesting edge.
Sleeves are characterized by balloon shapes, removable shoulder pad pads, and kimono-inspired designs. The classic suedine shirt has a modern feel thanks to puff sleeves. Cardigans come in many styles to keep you warm, including chunky ones with cool buttons and those made of super soft wool elastane. Knitwear with large cables or ajour can be enhanced by structure. The soft, silky alpaca sweater in sea foam makes you feel as cozy as it looks. Tops are adorned with lurex thread and yarn-dyed stripes.
Capsule 8
As the temperature drops, colours are becoming warmer. Navy, ivory, shell and lemon curry are all great accompaniments for brown shades like alpaca and pecan. In prints like fading stripes, all colours blend beautifully. There are many necklines available: there are V-necks with balloon sleeves and high-necked gathered blouses that have wide sleeves. The boyfriend sweater and cocoon cardigan are both super soft knits. They offer a feminine contrast to the V-neck sweater with sleeves in sturdy cardigan stitches and long, chunky cardigans. A short fancy cable knit gives a new look to the classic ice skater knit.
The A-line skirt in pecan is another new item made from lamb leather. The luxurious details include the leather-covered buttons. A rich faux leather might be an option for those looking for something more luxurious. It is extremely soft and supple. The suit comes in a boxy shirt, straight-fit trousers and a matching belt. The patchwork pareo scarf, which is made of a combination of polka dots and paisley, makes a fun addition to any outfit. Each capsule will come with a matching scarf, in exciting prints like polka dots or paisley. You can also get coloured stitching to add some colour.
Blue Daze
We proudly present four additional styles of sustainable denim this season. The Aware label can help you identify them. Denims, like the regular collection are elegant and comfortable. Comfort stretch is incorporated into the fabrics to create classic looks with vintage details like sewn-on pockets. Culotte is the new style in denim this season. It can be found in a variety of fabrics throughout the collection. To lengthen the legs, pair with high boots. Two-tone denim is another style that’s new. It has panels made of contrasting washes.
The loose-fitting shirts in lightweight black denim are ideal for layering. They have tiny studs at the shoulders. The same fabric is used for the belted denim dress, which has volume sleeves and pleated details. The oversized denim jacket comes in deep dark indigo. This jacket looks great with vintage washes, as well as regular colours.
Accessory
There are many accessories that will be useful, including the pareo scarves featuring beautiful patchwork per capsule in all the colours of the collection.
The perfect finishing touch to a complete look are the chunky leather Chelsea boots or high-laced boots in ivory or black. The platform sneaker is also back and looks great.
The fun faux leather bags are new to this collection. They are quilted and pleated, almost as good as real leather. Warm winter scarves are paired with woolly hats to complete the season’s cozy, comfortable mood.
