Railpen announced that the retail park saw an eight percent increase of sales between April 2019 and September 2019.

“Dune London’s opening at Caledonia Park will give our customers more designer fashion choices, complementing our unique lineup of leading brands,” Mahmoud Arria, Railpen asset manager, said in a statement. The centre’s success is evident in its sales, which are significantly higher than industry benchmarks and also 2019. We are confident that this growth will continue with such a quality line-up.”

The latest addition to the retail park is the shoe retailer. Johnstons of Elgin joined Polo Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss as well as Levi’s, Adidas, Hugo Boss and Levi’s. Railpen also announced a comprehensive renovation program at the park. This includes the improvement of units and better landscaping.

The retail park’s growth is similar to that of Dune London, which at the beginning of the year opted for a voluntary agreement (CVA) after having significant difficulties recovering from lengthy lockdowns. CEO Daniel Rubin stated at the time that the company was heavily dependent on high-street retailers. This suggested that it would continue to expand its high-street reach and work closely with partners to make new strategic moves.

Rubin stated that the opening of Caledonia Park was a milestone in their ongoing expansion. “It’s a top-quality destination that has a strong regional appeal and is benefiting greatly from the investments being made to improve the visitor experience. Caledonia Park is the ideal spot for Dune London and we have already welcomed new customers from both north and south.”
