Coco de Mer, a luxury lingerie brand, has announced a partnership with BBC America’s award winning television series “Killing Eve” to launch a limited edition collection.
IMG, the TV show’s licensing agent, brokered the deal. The exclusive designs were inspired by Killing Eve’s “synonymous style” and journeys.
Killing Eve by Coco de Mer includes five luxury ranges that are influenced by the various cities that form the backdrop to the series: Berlin, Moscow, Paris, London and Vienna. There will also be two spring/summer 2022 drops, making it a 10-piece collection.
For the holiday season, Berlin and Moscow will launch in December 2021. In February 2022, Paris, Vienna, and London will launch Valentine’s Day edits.
Coco de Mer explains that the collection celebrates women’s strength. It features soft lace textures, opulent silks and daring emerald bodies, as well as a striking black and gold intertwined bra set.
The Berlin capsule is designed to bring out the “sexy, subversive vibe” that Berlin has to offer. It includes a three-piece balcony bra and suspender belt with gold embroidery and a thong set with black tulle and intricate gold embroidery to create a botanical baroque motif. The Moscow capsule is made up of a two-piece red silk and lace slip with matching kimono.
Coco de Mer chief executive Lucy Litwack commented on the collaboration. She stated that the partnership “not only encapsulates the unapologetic feminine empowerment deeply ingrained into Killing Eve, but it also highlights the power a women can feel when she wears Coco de Mer’s intimates.” It was a great joy to bring the award-winning series to life. We hope that the collection will inspire women to be their strongest selves.
