B_Boheme, a premium vegan footwear brand, is relaunching a new design style with a carefully curated selection that can be made to order. This will allow the brand to increase its focus on minimising waste as well as increasing its sustainability production methods.

B_Boheme’s new look features three styles that can be made to order: a flat shoe and a sneaker. A pair of Chelsea boots is also available. These are all intended to highlight the brand’s “enhanced designs” and to show its most ethically sound and technologically advanced range.

Alicia Lai, founder of B_Boheme and chief executive, stated in a statement that she was thrilled to launch the new collection. “We’ve gone bolder and brighter and have put all our efforts into the design and sustainability credentials of this range. It is amazing to see it all come to life.”

“Talking about sustainability is only one part of a campaign to change. B_Boheme was founded by me to demonstrate how ethical and sustainable shoes can be attractive. We have been consistently praised as a leader in independent, innovative vegan footwear since our inception. I am extremely proud to be the founder and CEO of this global market-leading brand.”

The flat ‘Aimee’ is priced at 225 pounds and comes in four colors. It is a versatile shoe that is handcrafted in Portugal using animal-free, plant-based materials. For superior comfort, the shoe can be embellished with a crystal chain, recycled PET sequins, and a B_Boheme specialist insert. There are four colours available: cobalt, black, rose, and tangerine.

The ‘Scout’ sneaker is multi-functional and trans-seasonal. It’s made of animal-free, plant-based, and recycled materials. The shoe is available in black and multi-coloured, and it retails at 240 pounds.

The last style is the ‘Matilda” Chelsea boot, available in black or silver glitter and priced at 275 pounds. This practical boot features a chunky rubber and cork sole, topped with biodegradable or animal-free glitter uppers.

B_Boheme says that this collection “showcases how brands can be both durable and desirable, without compromise.”

B_Boheme’s core value is to create products that have the least environmental footprint. This is why it uses plant-based and sustainable materials in its collection. Its shoes are certified 100 percent vegan, as they use water-based glue and animal-free glue.

B_Boheme is eco-conscious not only with their shoe materials, but also with all of its products. All B_Boheme products come wrapped in recycled tissue paper made from 100 percent, and in certified organic cotton dust bags and cardboard boxes.

Lai said, “This is only the beginning of our plans 2022, with additional lines including a men’s range and many more to come.”

Lai launched B_Boheme as an online marketplace in May 2005. It featured a selection of vegan and ethically-sourced footwear brands. After growing demand from customers, they launched their own footwear brand. It was designed in the UK and made in Portugal in ethical shoe factories.
